At Oakwood Capital Management Bob is Executive Vice President and Director of Fixed Income and sits on the Investment Policy Committee.

Bob began his career in 1967 with Kalb Voorhis and Co., a member of the New York Stock Exchange. In 1969, he joined The Connecticut Bank and Trust Co., rising to assume responsibility for all fixed income assets, taxable and tax exempt, to include the bank's Common Trust Funds. In 1986, the bank formed an investment management subsidiary, Constitution Capital, and Bob was invited to join that organization to oversee the fixed income operation. As Vice President and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager his responsibilities encompassed all investment decisions affecting both conservative pools of money and fully discretionary fixed income management. He was responsible for a variety of asset classes, including money market instruments, municipal bonds, U.S. government securities and corporate bonds. Bob joined RNC Capital Management in 1988 as Director of Fixed Income, charged with the responsibility to build an institutional quality fixed income department. As part of this task he had responsibility for all bond portfolio strategy and management, credit research and bond trading at the firm. Bob's sphere of responsibility also included the fixed income management of a large bank portfolio for which the firm acted as investment manager as well as a money market mutual fund. He was made a Senior Vice President in 1989 and was a member of both the Investment Policy Committee and the Executive Management Committee. He is a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts.

Bob enjoys music and motorcycles, both riding them and customizing them. He also likes to paint and his art hangs in the finest of living rooms - primarily in that of he and his wife of 37 years, Janice. Their son, Bruce, works in the investment management industry and is also following in his father's footsteps as a fledgling motorcycle enthusiast. Daughter Jennifer is busy at her home raising their first granddaughter.
