As Vice President, Information Systems Manager at Oakwood Capital Management John directs all aspects of systems, networking and communications. John coordinated Oakwood's entire Y2K compliance effort, including the testing of all systems, the installation of backup systems and the coordination of Y2K compliance with all outside vendors. He conceptualized and built the Oakwood web site and has brought a significant percentage of our clients on line. One of his current projects is the upgrading and enhancement of Oakwood's information infrastructure to meet future demands and growth.

John joined RNC Capital Management Co. in 1988 as the computer graphics specialist. He took over responsibility for the design, management and ongoing support of all computer and communications systems and services in 1993. In that capacity he twice upgraded the computer system including designing the system that was required, coordinating budgetary and outside vendor relationships, installing and maintaining all hardware, software and networking products and training of personnel. He was responsible for specialized applications and programming as well. In 2002, John completed a second certification course offered at UCLA and earned the Professional Designation in Systems Analysis to complement his Professional Designation in Microcomputer and Local Area Network Support.

John enjoys softball, basketball and running and has four times finished the LA Marathon. He and his wife, Myra, an accountant, have been married for nineteen years. They recently purchased a new home in Torrance and are enjoying their eight year old son, Matthew, and six year old daughter, Emily.
