As Oakwood Capital Management's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Nick also sits on the Investment Policy Committee.

Nick began his career with the public accounting firm of SGV & Co., CPAs (member of Ernst & Young International). During his four years with that organization, he was in charge of independent audit engagements, provided management services to corporate clients and tax services to both corporate and individual taxpayers. His experience encompassed a variety of industries, to include manufacturing, trading and financial services companies. He joined RNC Capital Management Co. in 1972, was appointed CFO in 1973, became a Principal in 1981 and Senior Vice President in 1983. He was a member of the Executive Management Committee and was responsible for all aspects of the company's financial accounting, portfolio accounting, back office operations, administration and personnel management. During Nick's tenure he was instrumental in the development, testing and implementation of the FIN system, a proprietary portfolio accounting, analysis and trading system. He was directly responsible for the conceptualization, creation and development of all internal operating systems and also brought that firm into conformity with AIMR Performance Presentation Standards (AIMR-PPSÒ) including the development of relevant composites and the application of the standards to prior periods. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), California Society of CPAs, CFA Institute (AIMR) and the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts.

Nick's hobbies are golf, reading and hiking. He and his wife of over 30 years, Mabi, are blessed with two children: Ruth, who works in New York as a commercial film editor and Jason lives in Los Angeles.
